Adalimumab is a recombinant human IgG1 monoclonal antibody specific for human tumor necrosis factor (TNF). Adalimumab has been approved for Rheumatoid Arthritis, Psoriatic Arthritis, Ankylosing Spondylitis, Crohn’s disease, Ulcerative Colitis and moderate to severe chronic psoriasis.

Bevacizumab is a recombinant humanized monoclonal IgG1 antibody that binds and inhibits biological activity of human vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF). Bevacizumab has been approved for the treatment of Metastatic Colorectal Cancer (mCRC), Non-Squamous Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC), Glioblastoma, Metastatic Renal Cell Carcinoma (mRCC) or Metastatic Carcinoma of the Cervix, etc.

This medication is an antineoplastic agent, prescribed for multiple myeloma and mantle cell lymphoma. It works by killing cancer cells.

Factor VIII is a 500 IU is a preparation of clotting factor VIII. It is indicated for replacement of factor VIII in patients, who have factor VIII deficiency i.e. patients diagnosed with hemophilia A. Factor VIII replacement is the therapy of choice for clotting disorder in hemophilia A.

Erythropoietin (EPO) belongs to the class of Erythropoiesis Stimulating Agents, i.e. it works as a growth hormone and stimulates production of red blood cells from the hematopoietic stem cells in the bone marrow. It is solely produced by the kidney cells, and thus, any functional damage to the kidneys can result in EPO deficiency and reduction in production of RBC pool that eventually leads to anemia.

Filgrastim injection is used to decrease the chance of infection in people who have non myeloid cancer (cancer that does not involve the bone marrow) and are receiving chemotherapy medications that may decrease the number of neutrophils. It is also used to help increase the number of white blood cells, and decrease the length of time with fever in people with acute myeloid leukemia who are receiving treatment with chemotherapy medications.

Albumin injection is mainly used to treat low blood volume (hypovolemia). It is also used to treat low albumin levels in the blood (hypoalbuminemia) caused by: not enough albumin produced by the body (eg, malnutrition, infections), excessive breakdown of albumin (eg, pancreatitis), loss of albumin from the body (eg, bleeding, excessive kidney excretion), or redistribution of albumin from the body (eg, major surgery, inflammatory conditions).

Infliximab has been approved for treatment of rheumatoid arthritis (RA), Crohn’s disease (CD), ankylosing spondylitis (AS), psoriatic arthritis (PsA), psoriasis and ulcerative colitis (UC).

IVIG therapy is used to provide antibodies to patients to prevent or treat some illnesses that can occur when the body does not produce enough of its own immunity to prevent these diseases.

Pegfilgrastim is used to reduce the chance of infection in people who have certain types of cancer and are receiving chemotherapy medications that may decrease the number of neutrophils. Pegfilgrastim is also used to increase the chance of survival in people who have been exposed to harmful amounts of radiation, which can cause severe and lifethreatening damage to bone marrow.

Rotavirus spreads easily among infants and young children. The virus can cause severe watery diarrhoea, vomiting, fever, and abdominal pain. The first dose of either vaccine should be given before a child is 15 weeks of age. Children should receive all doses of rotavirus vaccine before they turn 8 months old.

Trastuzumab is currently approved for breast cancer and metastatic gastric cancer. It is a humanized IgG1 kappa recombinant monoclonal antibody that selectively binds with high affinity to the extracellular domain of the human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 protein (HER2).
